Drought Tolerant Japanese Style Garden

This garden features existing Juniper, Ceanothus, and iris's. We rearranged and pruned them in a Japanese style, then added some additional plants including grasses, (Carex tamulicola), a Fremontadendron, a Ribes, and a Garrya. We bordered all the beds with juniper timbers and installed  quartzite stepping stones. The garden does have drip irrigation, but in a few years most of it will take little to no water.
